Dwain Sterling Bradshaw, age 41, of Pensacola, Florida lost his life in the line of duty in
the early morning hours of Wednesday morning November 6, 2019. Bradshaw was loved
by many and will be greatly missed. Bradshaw was a career firefighter for NAS
Pensacola as well as a volunteer District Fire Chief at Escambia County Fire Rescue
Station #1 in Bellview and the assistant District Fire Chief #2 in Beulah. He was also an
Air Force veteran that just returned from his second tour in the Middle East. Bradshaw
was a loving husband, devoted father and a faithful friend to all who knew him. He
loved his family and friends deeply. He enjoyed singing karaoke, spending time on his
boat, fishing, and motorcycle rides with the Fire and Iron Motorcycle Club.
Survived by his beloved wife, Christine Bradshaw; two daughters, Baliegh Webb and
Chloe Jordan; parents, Dwain and Kathy Bradshaw; paternal grandparents, Robert and
Joan Bradshaw; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Allie Margaret Stagner; sisters,
Susan Pope, Becky Dunn, Debbie Bradshaw; brother, Adam Bradshaw (Jessica); four
nieces and five nephews; father and mother-in-law, Creighton and Mary Jordan;
brother-in-law, Brandon Jordan (Michelle); sister-in-law, Olivia Jordan; and
grandparents by marriage, Julius and Hilda Jordan and Betty Matheny as well as many
other family members and dear friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 with visitation
one hour prior to the service at Hillcrest Baptist Church 800 E. Nine Mile Road,
Pensacola, Florida. Pastor Jim Locke will be officiating. A military burial with honors
will follow in Pensacola Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
may be made for the family to the Dwain Bradshaw Go Fund Me page. The family is
incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love from all the first responders and medical
personnel, all the Fire Departments (Navy, Federal, County), Escambia County, the Air
Force, and many others from the community. While we cannot always understand
God’s ways, we trust that He is a good and faithful God and that He will sustain and
provide for our family during this incredibly difficult time.
