NGAUS is currently offering a Digital Life Membership for $500 and NGAMS is honoring it. The Digital Life Membership is the same as an Active Life membership except you do not receive a membership card and a print copy of the NGAUS magazine. Otherwise it is the same and your spouse never has to pay annual dues again.
Does your spouse and/or you and your family have the State Sponsored Life Insurance (SSLI)?*
This is different from the SGLI Insurance. SGLI can take a month to six months to pay out. As a result SSLI was created as a federal program to fill the gap. For active serving members of the Mississippi National Guard SSLI is often used to cover funeral costs, immediate bills, and to allow loved ones to mourn without the concerns of how they are going to pay their bills.
