Service
The family will conduct a graveside service on Saturday, 5 September 2020 at the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in McComb, MS at 2:00 pm.
Obituary
The entrance of the Joint Force Headquarters will be missing one of its fixtures as we sadly announce the passing of SFC(Ret.) Robert Jordan Carroll unexpectedly on August 28, 2020. SFC(Ret.) Carroll was incredibly vigilant and always greeted everyone as they entered the building. We are still waiting for the details of his arrangements and will update when we get it. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers and God bless SFC(Ret.) Carroll.
We are saddened to announce the death of Mr. Robert J. Carroll, 70, retired
MSARNG Sergeant First Class and cherished Joint Force Headquarters Access
Control Protection Supervisor.
Mr. Carroll joined the Mississippi Army National Guard on 2 November 1970 as
a member of Headquarters Company 1-155th Infantry Battalion in McComb, MS.
He served in various units and positions during his career as a Traditional
and Active Guard Reserve Soldier. Mr. Carroll served the MSNG faithfully for
over 26 years and retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7).
Following his retirement, he served the Mississippi Military Department in a
civil capacity as the Joint Force Headquarters Access Control Protection
Supervisor for 11 years. Mr. Carroll will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will occur on Friday, 4 September 2020 at the Cook Funeral Home
in McComb, MS from 0800-1600 hours.
The family will conduct a graveside service on Saturday, 5 September 2020 at
the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in McComb, MS at 1400 hours.
