CW3 Sam G. Vaught. CW3 Vaught is a member of Joint Force Headquarters and Active Life Member of the National Guard Association of Mississippi. He was selected after consideration was made of all Warrant Officers in Mississippi.
Among his many accomplishments this year CW3 Vaught successfully managed, coordinated, and organized 2,074 items worth $17,554,782 in support of U.S. military operations in CENTCOM AOR. CW3 Vaught’s determination led to over 2,613 Department of Defense Activity Address Codes being delimited, 1,440 DoDAAC modifications, and assists with over 7,845 help desk tickets for deploying units. His achievements led to countless units successfully deploying and re-deploying to theater while saving over $180 million in ARCENT funds.
CW3 Vaught is also highly committed to his local community supporting baseball programs at Northwest Rankin Athletic Association, Lee’s Martial Arts, and the Courthouse Gymnastics. His involvement projects a positive image of the Mississippi National Guard to the surrounding community.
