Obituary

MSG (R) Roy Reynolds passed away Wednesday, 28 Aug 2019 due to complications involving leg injuries with a farm tractor incident a few days earlier. Roy had been a member of the 134th EN Co, HHD 106 Support Battalion, and full-time employee and shop chief at OMS No. 10, Monticello for numerous years. Another great Soldier gone to rest with the Lord.

Mr. Roy Maston Reynolds, 79 of Monticello, MS passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Roy was born April 8, 1940 in Ruth, MS to Ulysses Maston and Dezarie Anglin Reynolds.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello, MS and continuing from 9:00 AM, August 31, 2019 until service time at 10:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello with graveside services following in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Michael Smith and Bro. Archie Herrin will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers are Carroll Case, Travis Reynolds, Jake Reynolds, Mikell Sandifer and Terrell Smith

Honorary Pallbearers will be The Hezzie Williamson Sunday School Class of Bethel Baptist Church.

Roy retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard where he worked as a supervisor in the maintenance department. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He loved spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
Roy is survived by his wife Alicia Reynolds of Monticello, daughter Susanne Moore of Monticello, MS; Grandchildren, Brady, Micah and Elliott Moore of Brandon, MS; sisters Udell Harrell of McComb, MS and Mary Magdalene (Judy) Hammack of Panama City, FL; brothers Coy Reynolds of Sontag, MS, and Henry Reynolds and wife Linda of Monticello, MS and numerous nieces and nephews.

Proceeding him in death are his parents Ulysses Maston and Dezarie Anglin Reynolds; daughter Tara Elizabeth Reynolds.
