Service

Funeral services for Brady J. Stewart will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Matthew Jones and Rev. Larry Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Cemetery.

McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Stewart, 21, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

He was a native of Scott County and a graduate of Lake High School in 2018. He worked as a Flight Operations Specialist for the Army National Guard. He loved to ride 4 wheelers, go jeep riding, camping and most anything outdoors and playing corn hole. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and especially loved spending time with his daughter. Mr. Stewart was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Lake and he attended Philadelphia Church of God in Philadelphia.

Survivors include his wife, Alexis Stewart of Philadelphia; daughter, Jessi Kate Stewart of Philadelphia; parents, Stanley and Angela Stewart of Lake; brothers, Andrew Stewart of Oxford and Tyler Stewart (Katherine) of Brandon; maternal grandparents, Cobert and Sandra Phillips of Lake; paternal grandparents, Earl and Audrey Stewart of Lake; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mark and Lindsey Ladd of Philadelphia; sister-in-law, Briana Stewart; brother-in-law, Brandon Ladd of Philadelphia; nieces, Lorelei and Annistyn Stewart; nephews, Wyatt and Elliott Stewart; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers are Andrew Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Brandon Ladd, McKenzie Kirkland, Tanner Smith, Aubry Sims, Toby Smith and Jace Clayton.
