Billy Joe Pickle, 86, a retired carpenter, died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at his home.
Visitation is 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Carthage First Apostolic Church. Services are 2:00 pm at the church with Rev. Joseph Burgess and Elder J. E. Burgess officiating. Interment is in Renfro Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pickle, a native of Dossville, MS, was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Carthage. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
Survivors include: his wife, Patsy Pickle of Carthage; a son, Chris Myers of Carthage; a daughter, Renee Myers of Carthage; 6 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Tim King, Hershal Monk, Glen Sessums, Chris Myers, Bubba Collins, and Dewayne Savell.
Honorary pallbearers are: Ann Robertson, Ashley Hardy, Jessica Lathem, Lasha Kimble, and the great-grandchildren
